In cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, Novatec has been developing an electrified multifunctional low-floor vehicle for three years. Prototyping is underway in two variants, a 20-seat minibus and a delivery vehicle of the same dimensions. It is an M2 category vehicle, powered by a battery-powered electric motor and rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The main goal of the project is the pre-commercial development of MUNIVO vehicles, and strengthening the capacity of users for research, development and innovation, through improving cooperation with the academic community, primarily with project partners. The specific goal is that the research and development activities result in a new product, ie the MUNIVO vehicle, which is an innovative multifunctional low-floor electric vehicle intended for public passenger transport or delivery of goods.
